Deleware is considered a middle Atlantis state and first to ratify the Constitution of the
United States and is the second smallest state. The land mass consists of a level plain that does
not rise over 450 feet above sea level. Due to Deleware being on the coast and the Appalachian mountains,
the climate varies greatly in the winter but the whole state still has hot humid summers. Daleware industrial
manufacturing includes chemicals, processed foods, paper, rubber, and plastic.
